What is Cloud DMA and why does the MW4 software listing require it?

Closed thread Closed by archive

I've been reading the MW4 system requirements and noticed Cloud DMA mentioned separately from the Windows requirements.

The page says it's required for full functionality.

I'm familiar with normal Windows requirements, TPM and Secure Boot, but Cloud DMA is a term I haven't seen explained properly on the listing.

Is there a documentation page that explains exactly what it means, whether there are additional requirements and what a buyer needs to check?

Would rather understand the requirement before purchasing.

I'd ask the provider directly. The product page mentions the requirement but doesn't give enough technical detail to make assumptions about the setup.

Agreed. Don't confuse a hardware requirement with a Windows setting. They aren't automatically the same thing.

This is why detailed documentation matters. A requirements list should explain what each item actually does.

Exactly. Ask whether anything additional is required and get the current instructions in writing.

At least you checked before buying instead of discovering a missing requirement afterward lol.
