Is a skin changer separate from MW4 gameplay features?
Closed thread Closed by archiveMaybe a basic question, but are skin changers normally separate from gameplay software?
I keep seeing cosmetic tools advertised alongside other gaming software, and I'm not sure whether people consider them part of the same category.
For example, a skin changer listing talks about weapon skins and character cosmetics, while an MW4 software listing focuses on things like player information, radar and aim options.
Those sound like completely different purposes to me.
Also, should you assume a skin changer supports MW4 just because it supports other games?

Replies are closedDifferent purpose entirely. One is about cosmetics, the other is gameplay-related software.
And no, never assume game compatibility. That's probably the most important part of this question.
Imagine buying a skin tool and discovering the game you actually play isn't supported. Pain.
Exactly. Read the supported title list first.
Also check whether cosmetic changes are visible only locally or have any official in-game recognition. Those aren't necessarily the same thing.
Good point. A screenshot in a product advertisement doesn't answer every compatibility question.
